At The Bartlett, we recognise that the built environment professions are not diverse enough – and we promise to do better. 

Here, the Bartlett’s Deputy Director of Operations, Serina Hayes, discusses the launch of The Bartlett Promise Scholarship in 2020.

“The aim is to provide education accessible to everyone, no matter what their circumstances, and to diversify our student population,” she says. “From that, we’re hoping to diversify the professions they enter.” 

Ten scholarships have been awarded this year, with selected students provided with full tuition fees plus an annual allowance to cover living and study expenses for the duration of their programme at The Bartlett.
